Samir Kumar Saha, a President’s Awardee is working with Shola for the past 45 years. He started at a very young age with the support of his elder brother. They started with copying the ornaments of the idols. Previously he used to make Topor (wedding headgear), Kodom but then it shifted to the intricate designed models like Hawda Hati and Mayurpankhi Nouka. He is a trainer himself. Under him there are 7 units in Jiyaganj. He has travelled to Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai, Brazil and China.
