How to make a Kadam Phool

Roll a sheet of shola to form a cylindrical shape

Slit into thin slices from the edge to the centre carefully

Tie securely with string

Slice both ends evenly

Repeat Step 2. On the other end

Tie securely with string

Slice both ends evenly

Secure string around big toe

Tie the other end of the string around the cylinder

Pull away the loose end of the string

Pull more to fluff up the flower even further

Cut off the loose end of the string
